TikTok is testing an AI likeness detection tool

TikTok is testing an opt-in tool that allows creators to detect and report AI-generated likenesses, initially with some US creators. The tool requires identity verification via Jumio, including a selfie scan and ID check, with TikTok not retaining the data. This follows a similar move by YouTube, which recently made its AI detection tool available to all adult users.
